Elegant and Modern Garden Wedding at Christianson's Nursery

This was the most elegant, romantic day! I can’t imagine celebrating Matt and Kelsey and their close family and friends in any other way. Kelsey had wanted a garden wedding, and she and her sister Katelynn (who owns Prudence + Sage Coordinating) planned exactly that. All of the details were so elegant; I loved it! It’s so fun when brides plan their day around a specific look or aesthetic. The venue, the dress, the colors, the table scapes, everything worked together so well. It was so fun to photograph.

Kelsey and Matt have been together for 10 years (WOW) so I knew that when Covid threw a wrench into their plans, it wasn’t going to stop them. Kelsey and I had been emailing back and forth talking about options when it was clear that their original wedding wasn’t going to happen, and at one point she said, “Well, we’ve been together for this long… what’s another year?” Thankfully, we didn’t have to change anything too drastically… and I think it turned out exactly how it was supposed to. A smaller guest list and a shorter reception; but it was beautiful. And now they are married! Finally!
